Home Page Photo Contest No.3
Theme: "Two"
"There is something inherently interesting between two things" -- Russell Lee
We hold the home page photo contest twice each year. The winning entries are displayed on our home page in a slide show for six months. Click the "Contest Winners" tab to view the slide show.
The slide show from our second contest has been on display since October 2009. Nearly 500 photographs were submitted by 101 photographers for Home Page Photo Contest No.2. The show was juried by Norman Mauskopf, winner of the 2002 W. Eugene Smith Fellowship.
Home Page Contest No.3 is our latest contest and our first with a theme. Since 2010 is the second year for ACP, the theme the contest is "Two". However, we're leaving the interpretation of "Two" up to you. Let your imagination run with it and see what you come up with.
The juror for Home Page Contest No.3 is Julie Saul, owner of the Julie Saul Gallery in New York City. Julie has owned and directed the gallery for over twenty years. From the outset, it was her intention to specialize in representing contemporary photographic based art, from traditional to avant-garde. She has also focused on special projects involving vintage photographs, and thematic and historical topics. Her artists are represented in the collections of most major American and many European art museums.
Entering photographs in Home Page Contest No.3 is a chance for your work to be seen by one of the world's premier gallerists.
